(2) How do we get to the Resort?
By road – From the north or the south take the Maroochydore exit off the Bruce Highway (National Highway 1) onto Maroochydore Road (State Highway 8). Follow the road into Maroochydore town centre. At the set of traffic lights, take a right into Horton Parade / Aerodrome Road (State Highway 6). Take the third road on the left into First Avenue. Second right off First Avenue leads into Memorial Avenue. Follow Memorial Avenue toward the ocean and Chateau Royale can be found at the end of the street on the corner with Sixth Avenue.
From Sunshine Coast Airport – Pick up a hire car, let us pre-arrange a shuttle bus direct to the Resort or take a taxi. Allow 20 minutes.
From Brisbane Airport - Pick up a hire car and drive north on the Bruce Highway or let us pre-arrange a shuttle bus to the Resort. Allow 11/2 hours.
(3) Is linen supplied?
Yes, all bed linen and towels are supplied with beach towels available for a small hire cost.
(4) What does self catering mean?
All holiday apartments at Chateau Royale Maroochydore have a full kitchen comprising stove top, oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and all necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided. Each holiday apartment has a washing machine and a dryer. A direct dial telephone is provided in each room to enable friends or relatives to contact guests directly in your apartment.
A starter pack of tea, coffee and milk is supplied for the first night, along with a starter pack of dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and dishwasher powder.
(5) Are the apartments non-smoking?
Yes, all holiday apartments at Chateau Royale Maroochydore are non-smoking.
(6) How many bathrooms do the apartments have?
Each holiday apartment has an ensuite and main bathroom. The beach houses have an en-suite, a main bathroom and a shower room on the ground floor.
(7) What are pool/garden view apartments?
Our pool/garden view holiday apartments are located on the third floor and below but still enjoy the northerly aspect and spacious layouts of the ocean view holiday apartments. Lower tariffs apply to the pool/garden view holiday apartments.
(8) Are there cafes and restaurants nearby?
There are many of boutique cafes and restaurants within walking distance of Chateau Royale Maroochydore.
(9) Does the Resort have lifts?
Yes, Chateau Royale Maroochydore has lift access to every floor of the high rise including the car park.
(10) Does the resort have free pay TV?
Yes, with a range of channels available including movies (Movie 1, Movie Extra), sport (FOX 1, 2, 3), children (Nickelodeon) and teenagers (Channel V) as well as news and general interest programmes.
(11) Is there equipment available for hire in the Resort?
Yes, the following equipment is available for hire from the Resort at a modest cost:

(12) How does the broadband internet access work?
A modem is collected from reception. There is no charge for the modem. After connecting the modem to your computer the internet service providers’ (ISP) home page displays to allow a user name and password to be assigned. Guests then select the access plan best suited to their requirements as follows:

(14) What happens if we arrive after reception closes?
Please contact us if you anticipate arriving after reception closes. An after hours key safe is available to allow apartment keys to be collected outside of reception hours, by prior arrangement.
