The annual Sunshine Coast Marathon is in its second year with again featuring events that cater for all ability levels and age groups from the 2 kilometre run through to the full marathon length event with up to 10 000 runners expected to hit the tarmac on Sunday the 25th of August. This flat, fast and very scenic course appeals to entrants as well as spectators who will line the course to cheer on the athletes as they run past. Join in this celebration of fun, health and community awareness with funds raised going to Ronald McDonald house charities…a very worthy community charity. While online entries have closed, you are able to enter in person up until Saturday at 5pm so get your running shoes on and head to the Sunshine Coast for this event.
